These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Barrio web platform at barriosoft.com and related SaaS services (the "Service"), operated by JARR-C Solutions ("we", "us", "our").
For mobile-app-specific terms, see the tab above.
By creating an account on or otherwise using Barrio, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are signing up on behalf of an organization (an HOA, condominium corporation, property management company, or similar entity — the "Community"), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Barrio provides a cloud-based property-management platform for Philippine residential and commercial communities, including (without limitation) member management, billing, payment tracking, visitor passes, gate activity, maintenance ticketing, communications, and security features.
The Service is offered as a subscription. Some features may be available only on certain paid plans and may change over time.
Free trials are offered to new Communities only. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial ends, your account will be downgraded to Starter (or, where applicable, suspended). We may modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.
Where enabled by a Community, residents may pay dues, fees, and other charges through payment processors integrated with the Service (e.g., PayMongo for resident-to-Community payments, Xendit for B2B subscription billing). When you use these payment features:
The Community retains full ownership of all data it enters into or uploads to Barrio ("Community Data"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Community Data.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and otherwise process Community Data solely to provide and improve the Service, to maintain backups, and to comply with legal obligations. We may use de-identified, aggregated data (which cannot be linked back to you or any individual) for analytics and product improvement.
You agree not to:
We may, in our reasonable discretion, suspend or terminate access if we believe these rules have been violated.
The Service relies on third-party providers (hosting, error monitoring, payment processing, push notifications, email delivery). Your use of those features is subject to the relevant provider's terms in addition to ours. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes caused by third-party services.
The Service — including the Barrio name, logos, software, designs, and documentation — is owned by JARR-C Solutions and protected by Philippine and international intellectual-property laws. No license to our intellectual property is granted to you except the limited right to use the Service as described in these Terms.
Barrio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JARR-C Solutions and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including (without limitation) loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or PHP 5,000, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JARR-C Solutions from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Service, (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (d) Community Data you upload, to the extent such Community Data violates the rights of any third party.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Metro Manila, Philippines. Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under Philippine law.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Barrio mobile application (the "App") for iOS and Android, operated by JARR-C Solutions ("we", "us", "our").
For platform / SaaS subscription terms, see the tab above. Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, JARR-C Solutions grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use as a member of a participating community.
You agree not to:
If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store's terms. The store providers (Apple Inc., Google LLC) are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In any conflict between these Terms and the relevant app-store terms, the app-store terms apply only to the extent required by the store.
The App requests the following permissions only when needed for a specific feature:
You may revoke these permissions in your device settings; some features will not work without them.
The SOS feature is provided as a community-routing tool to alert guards and authorized staff in your community. It is not an emergency dispatch service and is not a substitute for contacting the police, fire department, or medical emergency services. In any life-threatening situation, contact the appropriate local emergency authorities directly (e.g., 911 in the Philippines).
Misuse of the SOS feature (false alerts, prank use, etc.) may result in suspension of access and may expose you to liability under applicable law.
Where enabled by your community, you may submit payment proofs or pay dues and fees through the App via integrated payment processors. Card and bank details are handled by the relevant processor — we do not store credit-card primary account numbers. Processing fees, refunds, and dispute handling are governed by the payment processor's terms and your agreement with your community.
Photos, documents, comments, and other content you submit through the App ("User Content") remain yours. By submitting User Content, you grant us and your community a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and use it solely to operate the Service for your community.
You represent that you have the right to submit any User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right (including privacy and intellectual-property rights).
You agree not to use the App to:
You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it from your device. Your community admin may deactivate your account if you leave the community, change role, or violate these Terms. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or applicable law.
On termination, your right to use the App ends, but provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will remain in effect.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that it will be compatible with every device or operating system version.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JARR-C Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, including loss of data, loss of access, or any security incident occurring on your device. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed PHP 5,000.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the App shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Metro Manila, Philippines. Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under Philippine law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
